Is Arizona United a club lacrosse program?

No, Arizona United is not a club program. AZ United is a tryout-only elite lacrosse program consisting of a High School and Middle School team. Players are required to attend a two-day tryout and participate on a club team year-round.

Arizona United teams are intended to be supplemental to the players club team.

How many athletes will make each Arizona United roster?

We will be taking the top 20 (18 field players and 2 goalies) players based on skill, lacrosse IQ, fitness, GRIT, and coachability.

2026 Team: Top 20 2026s

Will Arizona United teams’ schedules conflict with club team schedules?

No, none of the practices or tournaments will conflict with schedules for Arizona club programs (Desert Heat, Vortex Elite, Ahwatukee Lacrosse, State 48).

All AZ United players are required to attend their club practices and tournaments to maintain their AZ United roster spot.

Will an athlete be required to tryout each season?

Yes, all athletes must tryout each season. Athletes who do not make the team one season are allowed and encouraged to tryout again after working to improve.

Who can tryout for Arizona United teams?

Any High School or Middle School lacrosse player (2025-2028) who plays for another club organization is eligible to tryout for Arizona United.
